ColourPop Cosmetics Swatches: Part One

Lippie Pencil

Lip swatch of Lippie Pencil in Lumière.

I personally liked this Lippie Pencil, it was a little stiff, but still nice and creamy. I have tried other lip pencils from other brands that were overly stiff to the point where it felt like there was barely any product or pigment coming off. This was not the case with this lip pencil as it was nicely pigmented.

Lippie Stix

Lip swatch of Lippie Stix in Bound.

These Lippie Stix are nice and creamy, they applied nice and smoothly and are not drying on the lips at all. My favorite out of these three colours has to be Aquarius. Although they all applied smoothly, I found that Baewatch applied a little patchy, but this is not uncommon for darker purple colours.

Ultra Satin Lip

These liquid lipsticks were not overly drying as compared to some other brands. They both applied nicely and have great pigmentation; however, I did find that Femme applied a little smoother than Jiffy did.

Ultra Metallic Lip

Lip swatch of Ultra Metallic Lip in Kween.

Through watching YouTube videos I have heard many people talk about ColourPop Cosmetics' lip pencils, crème lipsticks, and matte and satin liquid lipsticks, but I have not heard much on their metallic liquid lipsticks and I believe they are truly underrated. The pictures I have taken do not do justice to how beautiful these are and the metallic shine they give your lips. In terms of application Mug Shot applied a lot smoother than Kween did, but if you are looking for a little more glittery of a metallic lip than I found definitely recommend Kween.

Thank you all for viewing my post and I will have Part Two (all the Ultra Matte Lips and the Pressed Powder Eye Shadow) up soon!
