Makeup Geek: Mini Haul and Swatches

First of all I would like to apologize for not posting and basically going missing for the past few weeks. I went home for Easter and was able to post then, but then I went to the states for a few days with my family (I will be doing a big haul from that trip soon). I have also been busy with a lot of changes in my personal life like starting two new jobs, but I am getting everything back in order and will be posting more regularly again and already have a bunch of things planned and quite a few hauls to post too!!

Mini haul from Makeup Geek

I have never tried anything from makeup geek before, but have heard about them on YouTube especially from Kathleen Lights. Since I have a huge lipstick addiction I decided to buy and try out some of their lip products and one of their duo chrome eye shadows.

Plush Matte

Upon first application it applied really smoothly and was really creamy.

Plush Creme

The applicator was a little awkward to work with, but it is still a smooth product similar in texture to the Plush Matte.

Iconic Lipstick

This was very patchy on application, and I had to work with it a bit to get it to look smooth. However, this is a very dark shade and it is harder to get darker shades to be smooth, so I would assume lighter shades would not be so patchy.

Duo Chrome Eye Shadow

I wanted to try one of the eye shadows from Makeup Geek as this is the item I hear people talk about most often and it did not disappoint. It was nicely pigmented and there was no fallout at all. The duo chrome effect was especially nice and as I mentioned previously is not done justice by the picture.
