Metallic Lip Gunk Kit
The Metallic Lip Gunk Kit came with the "lip gunk", a lip brush, and a mixing tray. I was so nervous to try this at first because the name literally says lip gunk so I thought it would be super thick and sticky. It was a little thick at first, but not nearly as bad as I had initially expected, and it was nicely pigmented, only a small amount was necessary. However, one thing that bothered me was that the tray is so large when you only need a small corner to put a little bit of product on.

Since this product came with a tray I decided that I would see how it mixed with another product and how this affected the product. I mixed the metallic lip gunk with a tinted lip balm, which thinned it out and made it less thick which was nice. I also like this because you can mix this with other products in the tray to create your own colour.

Gloss Lip Gunk Kit
Same as the Metallic Lip Gunk Kit, this kit included the "lip gunk", a lip brush, and a mixing tray. The gloss was nice and smooth and not sticky at all. It was definitely more sheer and less pigmented than the metallic kit, but it is not too hard to work with it and make it full coverage.

Like with the metallic kit, I also mixed the gloss lip gunk with the same tinted lip balm. It did not affect the formula and smoothness of the gloss, which was nice to see and has the same benefit of being able to create your own shade.

Colour Chrome Eyeshadow Kit
The chrome eyeshadow kit came with a mixing tray, an eyeshadow, and an intensive eye primer. Although it is called an eye primer, it is liquid and I found it easiest to just mix it in straight with the eyeshadow. Since it was easiest just to add a couple of drops of the intensive eye primer to the eyeshadow the mixing tray was pretty pointless for this kit.
I decided to see how big of a difference the intensive eye primer makes with the eyeshadow by applying the shadow alone to my left eye and the shadow mixed with the intensive eye primer to the right eye. The shadow alone is pretty chunky and hard to pick up on a brush. With the primer the eyeshadow was definitely smoother, but it was very thick and needed to be worked with to make smooth, but it definitely made it brighter as you can see from the picture.
Overall, these are nice kits, but they are nothing amazing and I would not say that they are a must have purchase. I would have to say that my favorite kit was the Metallic Lip Gunk Kit because it was the most opaque and I have a few issues with the chrome eyeshadow kit to say it was my favorite. With the eyeshadow kit one big issue I had was that it didn't come with a brush like the lip kits because it really messed up my brush I used with it. Another issue is that there is not a whole lot of the primer so I think you would be better off saving up your money for the MAC Fix Plus that everyone talks about. Therefore, I don't really think these products are worth it in the end.
Thank you all for viewing this post and I will have another one up for you very soon!!
